What’s next?
Following the open submissions period, up to five Finalists will be selected by the judges according to the official Challenge criteria and will be awarded $20,000 in cash prizes each.
Finalists from Stage 1 of the Challenge will move forward to Stage 2, where they will compete for an additional $200,000 in cash prizes. During Stage 2, Stage 1 Finalists will further develop their concepts into detailed system designs that describe how concepts are to be implemented in practice, with guidance from expert mentors. Finalists will submit these detailed system designs at the end of Stage 2.
